Death of truth

Who might be the person whom you are closer with? Your sibling? Your Partner? or Your best friend?

Most of the people would have someone to speak with... about their difficulties, needs, worries etc. But is the information you share always true? Deep down you know it is not! The statements we make are always manipulated by the surroundings.

Just imagine that your best friend or partner have a sibling whose is a great artist. You might also interested in arts and is a decent artist within yourself. What happens when your partner or friend talks with you about his/her sibling or whoever be it? You automatically tend to speak good about your talent even though you are not interested in boasting about it. Isn't that a manipulated statement?

The whole truth never comes into picture. People do think that they are being fully transparent to their loved one... be it their friend or partner or parents. It is a fact that 95% teenagers are never comfortable in telling truth about themselves to their parents. All you hear has always been just a simple lie until now. Everyone has their own harmless secrets.

I always believed that I am being true to myself and my partner at least. But the truth is I do have harmless secrets which I try to hide even from myself. "Harmless" - as the word means, it is really harmless, dosen't harm your relationship with the other person even though they come to know about this secret. On the other hand, there are "harmful" secrets which are really toxic in nature. It could also be called as "Lies of Lies". It not only hides the truth, but it lead one to literally lie.
